As the year comes to a close, we are taking a moment to reflect on what made this past season with ACT so meaningful. At its core, ACT exists to bring growers, technology partners, and industry experts together to share knowledge, challenge assumptions, and move greenhouse production forward. This year did exactly that.
Thanks to the engagement, openness, and curiosity of our community, ACT delivered another year of practical education, valuable connections, and grower-focused conversations.
By the numbers
Over the course of the year, ACT hosted:
- 3 live events and 2 educational webinars
- 298 total attendees across all sessions
- Participants from 2 countries and 3 Canadian provinces
Growers continued to be the heart of ACT, representing roughly two thirds of total attendance. Even more encouraging, 81% of attendees told us they would attend an ACT event again, reinforcing the value of open, relevant, and data-driven discussions.
A diverse grower community
ACT events welcomed growers from a wide range of crop segments, reflecting the diversity of modern greenhouse production:
- 43% tomato growers
- 16% pepper growers
- 12% leafy greens growers
- 12% cucumber growers
- 12% berries growers
- 5% cannabis growers
This mix of crops created richer conversations, broader perspectives, and shared learning across growing styles, markets, and production challenges.
